Prewriting, Handwriting & Fine Motor Groups: Real Help for Handwriting While Having Fun
This group is ideal for children who struggle holding and using a pencil, avoids writing, becomes anxious or upset when writing, and has difficulty forming letters and numbers. We also work on basic classroom fine motor skills such as cutting, coloring and drawing. Sensory Motor breaks are integrated to maximize motivation, attention and motor learning. We integrate key components of the Handwriting Without Tears program. Activities initially modified and geared to ability level.
